KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) menyasarkan untuk mencapai 19 juta transaksi tahun ini melalui rangkaian ejen perbankan berdaftarnya (EBB) di seluruh negara.

Timbalan Ketua Eksekutif Perbankan Komunitinya, Yunos Abd Ghani, berkata sejak pewujudan EBB pada Januari 2012 hingga Mei tahun ini,  bank itu telah mencatatkan kira-kira 20.2 juta transaksi bernilai lebih RM1.69 billion.

Kota Kinabalu: Singer Malaysia Sdn Bhd outlets in Sabah will be undergoing refurbishment as part of the company's rebranding plans.

According to its Sabah regional manager Yap Sin Teck, with the refurbishment, all Singer outlets would have a new contemporary look and be more appealing to its customers.

Speaking to reporters at the opening of Singer Malaysia's 71st outlet in Sabah, which is located at Giant Kolombong here yesterday, Yap also said that Singer had embarked on a new business, financing for used cars.

Kota Kinabalu: Singer (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, pengedar barangan elektrik dan keperluan rumah, menyasarkan untuk membuka hingga 100 cawangan baharu di Sabah menjelang pertengahan 2015 yang menampilkan konsep baharu dan mesra.

Pengurus Wilayah Sabah Yap Sin Teck berkata, kini Singer sudah mempunyai 71 cawangan dan akan meningkatkan jumlah itu bermula tahun ini.

"Pada masa yang sama juga, kita turut menyasarkan jualan barangan sehingga RM40 juta bagi tahun ini selain pembukaan cawangan baharu.

Kota Kinabalu: Singer (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd will continue its expansion programme to reach the targeted 100 outlets in Sabah by mid 2015.

The company's Sabah Regional Manager, Yap Sin Teck said that apart from having more outlets, Singer will also bring more contemporary products and services into the market.

"More products are coming in for our customers, and this year, we are starting to introduce financing services for big motorcycles such as expansion to the current motorcycle financing service we are providing.

KLANG: There is no bigger dream for S. Uma Mageswari, who was abandoned as a baby at a garbage dump in Ipoh, than to have her own family and home.

The 24-year-old spent her childhood in a children's home after being rescued by a kind couple, and later grew up with a foster family.

"The couple surrendered me to the welfare department and I was placed at a children's home in Taiping. My foster parents were not allowed to adopt me but took me home for the holidays and during Deepavali," said Uma, adding that she yearned for a real home of her own.

Penampang: Singer Malaysia Sdn Bhd (SINGER) Sabah is targeting to achieve RM45 million in sales this year in the state and Labuan.

Singer Sabah and Labuan regional manager Yap Sin Teck said that the target was achievable as the popular brand name for household items would be introducing new products so that consumers were spoilt for choice.

Coupled with Singer’s easy and friendly payment schemes, Yap said that the company would be able to do better in Sabah this year.

Penampang: The renowned family brand of appliances, Singer, will be expanding to 100 outlets throughout the state and Labuan by the end of the year.

The brand currently has 88 outlets comprising 15 branches and 73 authorised dealers.

The company’s regional manager, Yap Sin Teck said that in line with the expansion, Singer is also sourcing contemporary products with good quality for its customers.

He said although the company started in the state mainly as electrical appliances dealer, it has evolved in terms of product range and services offered over the years.
