Terms and Conditions
1.The Singer Malaysia facebook contest “JOIN SINGER AND SEE THE WORLD” is open to all Malaysian citizens and residents who is aged 18 and above.
2.This contest will run on a weekly basis, starting from 4th March 2017 to 1st April 2017 for a total of 5 weeks. Answers are to submit after the final positing using facebook ‘pm’ and must be received before 12 midnight 5th April 2017.
3.Eligibility & Mechanics of the Contest: -
o Participants must LIKE 
“SingerMalaysia” Facebook page or must be an existing fan to be qualified to participate in this contest.
o 5 pictures of known landmarks or specialties of the country which SINGER had visited will be featured each Saturday beginning 4th March 2017 until 1st April 2017. Participants have to identify the country and accumulate all 5 answers before submitting.
o Participants have to name the 5 countries correctly and submit using facebook’s “private message” (pm) once the last picture is posted in facebook.
o In the event where there are multiple tie breakers, participants have to complete a slogan which will be “pm” to the affected participants. They will be given a target date to submit their creative slogan.
o Prizes will be awarded to the outright all correct answers or selection of the Winning slogans, in the event of a tie. Judges decision is final.
4.SINGER MALAYSIA employees and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter this contest.
5.Employees or staff of external auditors who are directly involved in the Contest and the advertising agencies of SINGER MALAYSIA and any other party directly involved in organising, promoting or conducting the Contest are also not eligible for the Contest.
6.Winners will be notified by facebook “pm” and announcement through facebook post.
7.3 winners will walk away with exciting Singer products of value totaling more than RM1,000.00. Every eligible contestant stands a chance to win only 1 prize from the whole contest. Where the prize remains unclaimed for 1 month after the date of the Winners' post announcement, it will be forfeited.
8.If any person subsequently discovered to be not qualified or not eligible to participate in the Contest or not eligible to receive the prize, SINGER MALAYSIA reserves the right to forfeit/reclaim the prize at its discretion and applies the same on any other person as may be selected by SINGER MALAYSIA in any manner as SINGER MALAYSIA deems fit. No person shall be entitled to any payment or compensation from SINGER MALAYSIA should any prize be forfeited.
9.SINGER MALAYSIA may at its sole discretion substitute or replace any prize with any other prize of equal or similar value (in kind) selected by it without prior notice. Unless otherwise indicated by SINGER MALAYSIA, all prizes are non-transferable and are not exchangeable for cash or for any other item.
10.The winner agrees to co-operate with and participate in any advertising or publicity activities of SINGER MALAYSIA relating to the Contest and agrees that SINGER MALAYSIA may publicise the name and/or photograph of each winner in such mode and manner as SINGER MALAYSIA considers fit.
11.Without prejudice to these terms and conditions, all participants in the Contest expressly and irrevocably permits and authorises SINGER MALAYSIA to disclose, reveal and divulge information regarding their particulars to the parties involved in organising, promoting and conducting the Contest for the purposes of the Contest.
12.SINGER MALAYSIA’s decision on all matters relating to this Contest will be at its absolute discretion and will be final and binding on all participants. No correspondence shall be entertained.
13.In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the Contest, these terms and conditions will prevail.
14.SINGER MALAYSIA reserves the right at its absolute discretion to terminate this Contest or vary, delete or add to any of these terms and conditions from time to time without notice including without limitation, the eligibility of any person, the bases and methods of identification of winners and the dates of the Contest.
15.SINGER MALAYSIA shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising in connection with the Contest, including any act or omission relating to any person's participation howsoever caused by any breakdown or malfunction in any computer system or equipment and any notice which is misdirected or lost in the post.
